To go to Costa de Leticia, Alegria, Cebu you need to ride a bus at South Bus Terminal with the Bato – Barili route. We rode the non aircon Ceres bus and the fare from the terminal to Alegria is 140 Php. We aren’t familiar with the place so we told the bus assistant to drop us at the Alegria public school. Good thing I was observing the way and I saw the resort’s signage. Wew!
Jorj and I planned to celebrate my birthday at Costa de Leticia, Alegria, Cebu. And this is our first couple trip outside the city. When we arrived at the resort, we noticed that it is a big house with many rooms. The resort was very homey. We booked their single room and we added an extra mattress since it was the only available room for that day because of the town fiesta. The staff’s and the owner Capt. Donayre were very accommodating.

So after we fixed our things inside our room, we strolled around the town. We visited their church and ate lunch at Xi Shack resto bar.

I ordered their Tosilog and Jorj ordered their Longsilog. Before the trip, I found out that Alegria has it’s own natural spring and waterfalls. We asked a few locals to guide us to their spring but to my disappointment no one knows where it is. So we headed back to the resort and ate dinner.

They have their own restaurant and prices are a bit high. But when the food was already served, I was amazed since their servings is good for 2-3 people. The food was well presented, cooked fresh and delicious. We ordered their tuna sandwich with fries, grilled squid, pork sinigang, 4 cups of rice and mango juice for both of us. We paid around 500 Php.
Then we tried their infinity pool. That night was romantic, the night sky and the stars above us, the moon that shines and reflects in the dark ocean and the cold wind. We really had the time of our lives away from the hassle and noise of the city. We grabbed the moment to relax and chill.
We woke up early to swim in the beach. You can clearly see corals and live fishes in the clear waters. After swimming we went back swimming in the pool. They have a jacuzzi and it was my first time to try.

Then we ate our complimentary breakfast. I chose their ham – egg – rice – juice combo. While Jorj ate their corned beef – egg – rice -coffee combo.
